2026 Zero Harm Portal is Now Open

SCHA is excited to announce that the 2026 Zero Harm Awards Application Portal is now officially open! This program is our chance to celebrate the extraordinary dedication of our member hospitals who work tirelessly to create a culture of high-reliability care and keep patients safe. Open from August 12 through September 11, 2026, the portal invites facilities to highlight their life-saving achievements across several categories, including the Drive to Zero Harm Leadership Award, Certified Zero Harm Clinical Awards, and the SCHA Priority Awards (which this year includes updated criteria for our Behavioral Health, Workplace Violence, and Maternal Health).

To make highlighting your teamwork as seamless as possible, the online portal at zeroharmsc.org allows multiple staff members from a single facility to collaborate, save progress, and submit applications, while automatically keeping CEOs and executive teams informed. We look forward to reviewing this year's submissions and celebrating the systemic improvements and unwavering commitment of our members at the A Better State of Health Annual Meeting on December 9, 2026.
